i haven’t used it, but when me and my sister were younger, my dad had us in there. it was actually pretty fun. i don’t remember specific details, but i do remember this girl teaching us these cool games. when we were there, we didn’t have certain activities. we just kinda played with whatever they had.

Being in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years and a father of 5 children myself and having dealt with my own childhood obesity, I will make sure my kids don’t have to suffer all of the hardships that come with being a fat kid. As we all know very well, kids can be very cruel with each other, calling each other names and alienating the fat kids from group activities like sports. Don’t wait until your child has a problem; make sure to instill in them at an early age the importance of physical activity. All kids look at mom and dad like they are superheroes and you should set the example to your kids that exercise and good nutrition are part of your lifestyle. The biggest reason a child has weight problems is simple, they eat too many calories and they don’t burn enough of them. Our kids today play a video game instead of the real version of the sport. They say, “Why go outside and get sweaty when I can stay inside and be Ronaldinio or Lebron James on my big screen television, on the comfort of my couch, with my chips and sodas?”
This is a health crisis that is unfolding right in front of our eyes and we are letting it happen by standing by and not taking action. Our kids are at high risk for developing medical problems that affect their present health, their future health and general quality of life. High blood pressure, high cholesterol, abnormal blood lipid levels, insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes, bone and joint problems due to excess stress on the skeletal system and depression are just an example of what they have to suffer if we don’t act now. We as a society must realize that our kids are our cutting short 10, 20, 30 or even 50 years of their lives due to illnesses because of their childhood and inevitable adult obesity. Which in turn affects the life of every mom and dad with an overweight or obese child. Obesity is the deadliest overlooked disease when we generic voltaren refer to mass medical problems that plague modern day society.
What can you do to help your kids avoid all this misery and pain caused directly from obesity? The Answer is simple: Get them up and get them exercising! Even if your child eats thousands of calories per day, they will never get fat, as long as they burn them off through exercise. I have a saying that goes like this, “It’s not how much you eat, it’s how much you burn that counts”. You as a parent have to take action, even if that means that you get off the couch first. Set an example by committing yourself to better fitness and nutrition. If you pledge to a healthier lifestyle, it will do you as much good as it will do your kids. Our kids look at us as role models and we need to instill in them at an early age the importance of exercise and healthy nutrition. If you want to help your kids, then educating them is the answer. Start teaching your kids about nutrition and exercise at a young age, if you need help then do your research and seek the advice of professionals, but do it now before it’s too late.

Should take a rest with making fitness games, and start working on other games?
Like Star Fox, F-Zero, Kid Icarus, Pilotwings, Pikmin.
I think they should bring back old video game franchises, like how they effexor xr online brought back Punch Out!!!
They already did a good job with Mario in Super Mario Galaxy, and the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy 2 and New Super Mario Brothers Wii.
And Metroid has Metroid Prime 3 Corruption and the one coming out in the future: Metroid, Other M.
And the New Zelda game for Wii is already on development.
Konami should also make a 2d Castlevania game for wii with hand drawn graphics similar to Wario Land Shake it. And A Donkey Kong game kinda like Donkey Kong Country.
Other franchises that would be great are Earthworm Jim and Battletoads.
So what other video game franchises would you like to see making a comeback on Wii?
You don’t need games to exercise.
Hell yes! They definitely need to take a break with those fitness games and focus on more of their other titles. Bring back more platform games!!! I’m very excited but actually surprised that they are coming out with another Mario Galaxy….since they only had 1 Mario game per system in some of their last consoles.
Yes, they need to make a kickass 2D Castlevania game for the Wii. I also liked the Wario Land Shake It because it was my style plus the animation was awesome….just wish it was a little longer game. It’s kind of weird but I’m thinking more of my style games are probably on the DS, but just wish they could put some similar on the Wii, but with better graphics. They have already shown with their system that gameplay is better than graphics so why not spit some more 2D platformers out there.
I’ve been wanting a style like Donkey Kong Country for a while since that’s one of my all time favorite games. DK64 was good too, but I honestly liked the 2D platform better.
Hopefully Nintendo will realize that not all people like the popular first person shooter games and that they still have big fans of the platformers (Even XBOX & PS)…..I guess we’ll just see how everything goes!
I guess there are plenty of franchises out there that I would like to see come out….I would just would like it if they made more games to choose from in the same genre. Probably would like to see a good Kirby game….Earthworm Jim was really good too!

What should I do to start a youth aquatics fitness program?
Im starting a youth aquatics fitness program. We already have swim lessons. But our facility doesn’t offer a lot of programs for youth. I am looking for a swimming program that gets kids in off of the streets and in a fun and healthy environment. I’ve thought about starting a water sports team that meets once or twice a week to play basketball, volleyball, frisbee, baseball, paintball (with water guns) all modified for the water. But I would also like to have something thats’ individual, continuous, with prizes. For adults we have the mile swim club, for every 100 miles they get a t-shirt. Something like that for the kids. Any ideas would be great! Thanks!!!
Try having a swim team and a water polo team. Water polo is sure to hit up as popular and the team would be great to bring to meets around your area. If you train them hard enough, they’re sure to be proud of. Make sure to throw ice-cream parties and give them t-shirts for like making making 30 practices or something. Hope this helps!
