Just some P90X Questions?
I got a few questions about the P90X. First of all I’ve seen the infomercials and I’m pretty sure it works however I’ve seen that (No offense) obese people have started this program, however I heard you have to pass a fitness test in order to “survive” this program. now I’m not obese but I definitely have some fat on me. can this program be used by “ANYBODY” or do you already have to have an active looking body? Are the diet drinks aceon 4 mg and supplement vitamins absolutely necessary? I mean I’m not looking to become absolutely ripped so I’m wondering if it’s necessary.
and lastly any alternatives for the diet plan? I’m a lowly college kid and I cant’ afford most of the things needed to cook up a decent dietary meal.
I know this is alot of questions but any answers will be greatly appreciated. plus I’ll definitely choose a best answer
I met the minimum requirements for the fit test when I first started and completed P90x. I started out weighing 269lbs before P90x http://bit.ly/P90x_Progress. I never used P90x to get ripped like the commercials. I wanted to loose weight. So I believe anyone DETERMINED to get results can do P90x. It wasn’t pretty, but I got it done.
With nutrition – you don’t have to follow the guide. The idea is to toss out the junk food, eat lean proteins, veggies, and whole grains, and eat 5 times a day.

Help with swimming fitness plan?
For PE, we have to come up with a fitness plan for PE. This fitness plan has to expand over a period of time, so i’m doing mine for 4 weeks…but i need MAJOR HELP!
the points in which the fitness plan is supposed to focus on is:
Cardiovascular Endurance
Muscular Endurance
Muscular Strength
Flexibility
Body Composition
Does anybody have any ideas on what/how i can do this! THANKS!
For cardiovascular endurance, you need to do something that will get your heart rate up, i.e, running, jogging, cycling. The list goes on and on. Just be sure that you are doing each cardio exercise for at least 30 mins. As you get further into your plan, you should gradually increase the amount of time you are working out and the intensity of your workout. Example, if you jog for 30 minutes the first week, jog for 40 the next and possibly run the last 10 minutes.
Now for muscular endurance, you need to lift weights. But you have to be able to lift your chosen weights for 3 sets of 12 repetitions or 1 set of 18 repetitions. The goal here is to use your muscles for a long period of time to build up resistance. So start off with light weights, and once you can lift them for the 3 sets of 12 reps or 1 set of 18 reps with ease, you can gradually increase the weight.
Example exercises could be, bicep curls, overhead presses, squats.

To build up muscular strength, you want to lift the heaviest weight you can for 3 sets of 4-6 reps. Be sure that the weight isn’t too heavy to where you cannot complete the three sets(however this should still be difficult). Once you can lift the weight for 3 sets of 6 reps with ease, you can then increase your weight. You can use the same muscular exercises listed above in muscular endurance for building up your muscular strength.
*Also note that you should not lift weights everyday. Your muscles need at least 2 days a week to rest. If you over work your muscles, you will not improve very quickly, and your muscles will actually become weak.
To improve your flexibility, you need to obviously stretch. You should be stretching before and after every work out as your warm up and cool down. By doing this, you can prevent injury, and also avoid muscle soreness. Stretch often, and be sure accutane mexico buy that you don’t stretch so far to where you are in pain, reach until you feel slight discomfort and hold there for 10-15 seconds.

Body composition is not just how much you weigh, though it does play a role. In order to determine your current body composition you can calculate your BMI(Body Mass Index) but note that this is not the most accurate method, but it is the cheapest. There are also other methods to determine your body composition such as, Girth Measures, Skinfold Clappers, Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA), and Hydrostatic Weighing (Underwater Weighing).
Once you have determined where you stand on the charts of being on track, underweight, or overweight, you can then figure what steps you can be taking in your diet to improve or sustain where you are.

Anyone have any details on GSP’s training routine?
It seems to me Georges St-Pierre is one of the fittest guys in UFC and I’ve never seen any workout logs or journals devoted to this guys regimen – Fitness did a terrible little article on it, and theres the UFC All Access vids, but nothing in depth. So anyone know where I can find details on GSP’s training?
I doubt that he is going to be accupril 40 mg giving away his training schedule for free. Right now everyone in his weight class would love to know that information. If and when he does release a training video, it will most likely reveal his weak points. Anything you read in a magazine is most likely a generalization or straight up fiction.
He is obviously doing some sort of flexibility training, cardio, resistance training, and even some break dancing.

How to reap some packs in the abs?
Hey, y! Community.
Any advice on reaping a sixpack or eightpack?
I’m a student. No budget for any exercising tools or machines. No gym or park anywhere near my neighbourhood. No bodybuilding or fitness club in the school, only martial art of tang soo do, taekwondo, chinese wushu clubs. No budget for any expensive protein intakes too.
Just imagine a poor country with dropping economy rates. I know its tough, but just abilify prescription asking. Any advice? Currently in an association with lots of marching drill.
Just make a schedule, put more of crunches in it. Do run in fresh air and do all the fitness outdoors. You need to sweat a lot to cut the extra flab.
Exercise twice a day minimum for an hour to get best results =)

What are some possible activities to do with kids? Focusing on themed days, particularly?
I’m in this Mentoring Program and I’d like some ideas to help with underserved kids from disadvantaged backgrounds, focusing on themed days where the activities we do with the kids help them in that area. Some of the themes range from Health & Fitness, Happiness, Relationships, etc.

In my school its 50 push ups for excellent 40 for good 30 for average and 20 and below poor.average pull ups is probably 2-4 .the standard number of sit ups for kids is probably 20-40.

I forgot to mention I don’t need pouches for weights on my version of the vest.
Looks like cordura or similar nylon; I’d go with 100-300D… and I’d put something like Power Dry underneath it as a liner to help prevent hyperthermia.

Would this work? How great is my plan?
I am 35 lbs away from my goal weight of 150. I keep a food journal by using this iPhone app Lose It and I don’t go over a certain caloric intake a day and keep up with how many calories I’m burning when I exercise all using that app. My question for the fitness fanatics or gurus.. Is only doing cardio (increasing my levels and times, etc. on elliptical weekly) until I reach my goal weight and then tone up by lifting weights a good idea? Or should I just go ahead and mix the cardio and weights up now? I am pretty good at enduring long periods on the elliptical, but I kinda don’t like lifting weights much. I do on occasion, the days I’ll go back to the gym in the evening w/hubby.
Exercise..make a chart and run around your house everyday in it or on the outside while drinking water…

-replace coke with water or juice
-replace junk food with fruits and veggies
-use fresh instead of frozen or canned
-eat 1800-2000 calories a day or LESS
-try to get some of your friends to help
-its hard doing it on your own
-exercise by doing something fun like dancing or taking a bike ride
-during tv commercials, do 10 jumping jacks..just 10 each break and
you can loose alot!
-DIETS will not help you loose weight..they will just maintain the weight..they are half of the “Loose Weight Plan”
You have to exercise for the other half..so every time you eat..wait 30 minutes then run or exercise!
-make sure you stick to this plan and you can loose alot of weight in a few months or weeks
-DONT over exercise! take it easy and get used to it the first few weeks..then push your self to do more..
-DO NOT stop eating for good..if you think that not eating will help you loose weight its not..it makes u sick and dizzy..stick with good food!
-Eat superfood that are good 4 u like Berries! Blueberries strawberries rasberries are GREAT for you
-Also Broccoli and Celery are great 4 u 2! these give you energy and nutrition
