can you recommend any good exercise dvds for pregnant women?
I am citalopram order now two months pregnant and want to stay fit and healthy.
I already go for long walks to keep up my fitness but want something else to do when the weather’s bad.
Can anyone suggest any workout dvds for me?
I loved the sweatin’ to the oldies ones. They get your heart pumping but are easy enough to be done during pregnancy. I did them up until my 6 month…then baby just got to heavy and I got too out of breath.
Now I do walking and strength training on an exercise ball. They have some great exercises and tools on at http://www.babyfit.com and it’s FREE! Nutrition tracker, weight tracker, Fitness tracker, message boardes, due date tracker….it’s an awesome site!
Be careful with the yoga though. Everyone told me to try it and I did, which resulted in me not being able to walk for a few hours, I couldn’t even stand up!

Best kickboxing instructional video out there?
I want to learn how to kick box, for self defense/fitness. And the closest classes that teach it are almost 100 miles from where i live. So i need to know what the best video is that i can get to learn this. Has anyone succesfully learned it through an instructional dvd?
the tough part of learning kickboxing as a martial art (and not aerobic) through video is the contact portion of the art.
kickboxing is a contact art, that doesn’t have forms persay, there are combinations, however you want to be able to hit a heavy bag or striking pads to learn how to execute those combinations correctly and have that contact as well..

usually $99.00 and up, they’re great for apartments and just in general (who wants to drill a hole cheap viagra pills in their ceiling and anchor a bag to a beam in the attic, right!) you fill the bottom with water or sand (sand is best) and pull it out of the corner when you’re going to train.. simple!
well, i think it’s great that you want to start kickboxing, it’s a great workout and give a woman a great sense of empowerment.
just one suggestion, i saw that you said you wanted to learn for self defense.. just so you know, kickboxing, like any other martial arts, takes a bit to become accurate and effective enough to use in a self defense situation..
may i suggest that you take a day or weekend and head to the city and take a “self defense” course..
self defense courses teach you things that kickboxing doesn’t, such as awareness, reactive movements, and what to do if you’re attacked from behind or with a weapon. valueable tools i think every woman and man for that matter should learn. krav maga is the best i can recommend, however there are many others.

What fitness DVD should I buy (UK)?
I want to tone up quite a bit before summer and want to buy a fitness DVD i can do in my own home.
I’ve been looking at reviews on Amazon and Davina – Super Body Workout looks promising but so does 5 Step Fat Attack with Claire Richards from Steps.
What would you recommend for a 20 year old and have they had the desire results on you?
