Running books?

I’m currently running about 10 miles a week (along with Xtraining) and really want to bump that up enough to do a half-marathon (in 6 months!). I know the best thing to do is join a training program, but I’m also looking at books. Can anyone reccommend which of these 3 would be the best? Or even recommend a good one for a runner who is not quite a beginner, but not intermediate either?

The book covers one’s goals, health info, shoes, clothing, important training components, cross training and motivation.

Another perk is that this book is in full color and the different training programs are in an easy to understand table format.
