Aging, a steady decline:
The History of the world is filled with stories of individuals trying to find eternal youth. Wealthy people going to private centers for magic elixirs. Many individuals taking megadoses of certain vitamins, drink green tea, use coenzyme Q10 etc, hoping to find the “fountain of youth”. Lets take a closer look and see what happens to our bodies as we age.
Time,our worst enemy:
Growth Hormone declines steadily at the age of 31 and at the rate of 14% per decade. Along with aging, we become vulnerable to diseases. Our ability to fight illness declines, the body’s ability to metabolize sugar, handle cholesterol, and clear the kidneys of toxins, becomes more and more difficult. Ultimately, the slow deadly disease of aging creeps in.
As a person ages, hormone levels fall. Decreasing levels of certain hormones shows symptoms such as:
-gray hair
-wrinkly skin
-reduced skin thickness
-forgetfulness
-low sex drive
-weight gain
-bone or joint problems
-immune system weakens
-decreased muscle strength
These symptoms can be the possible result of, reduced Human Growth Hormone. Until age 21, Human Growth Hormone is abundant in the body being solely responsible for muscle building, bone growth, skin elasticity, increased energy, lean body mass, and sexual vigor.
Graying Hair
Gray hair is caused by the slowing production of melanin over time within the hair follicles. When this happens, the hair follicles produce less and less melanin, and the result is a loss of hair, color and strength.
The Skin
Hormonal breakdown and free radicals is the major contributor of skin aging because of the reduction of the body’s Hormone production or lack of. Hormones such as Human Growth Hormone and testosterone are only produced in noticeable quantities up to the age of 20. These Hormones are responsible for physical fitness, regeneration and the immune system. Due to a declining Hormone level, the breakdown of organs, tissues and cells begins.
Another factor are free radicals. These are parts of molecules that are found in the Human Body. As a result of external factors such as ultraviolet light(too much sun), smoking or unhealthy eating habits, under these circumstances free radicals are inclined to react. Meaning that they are in search of other chemical substances to bond themselves with. Ultimately, the breakdown of the skin begins. The body protects itself against these aggressors with naturally occurring anti-oxidant’s. Until you reach the age of twenty and onwards, this natural defense mechanism slowly declines, until eventually the skin can no longer defend itself.
What can be done about aging?
Well, about your actual age nothing, but could a healthier lifestyle, proper diet, or maybe vitamin and supplement intake, would that help turn back the aging clock? Is there something out there that could:
-Alleviate menopausal and premenstrual symptoms
-Reduce body fat
-Restore gray hair
-Increase energy
-increase sex drive enhancement in both men and women
-Restore the function of organs and glands
-Improve memory
-Improve vision
-Enhance one’s spirits
-Stabilize blood pressure
-Enhance the immune system
Well quite possibly, there just might be! Read below…

what types of programs offered would parents like to see available to do with their kids during the daytime ?
activities offered for parent/child (baby & toddler ages)
learning workshops
fitness group
social time
art activities
guest speakers
free offers
trade show
My husband works a lot and is much older (I have two stepsons 27 and 18, plus a 6 yr old step-grandson in addition to my 2 year old son) and he rarely has daylight time during the week to spend doing “boy stuff” with my son, like teaching him to catch balls, swing a bat, shoot hoops, etc. I, on the other hand, have most of my day free to spend with my son.
Silly, I know, seeing as my son is only 2, but he’s very athletically advanced and has great hand-eye coordination. I was a runner when I was younger but never played team sports. I would hate to teach him a wrong grip or bad methods, so I would love to see an early sports-themed workshop for mommies (or non-athletic dads, too) in my position–you know, us future soccer and T-Ball Moms? My son got a T-ball set for Christmas this year and though I don’t really know the game well, I’ve already taught him how to set it up, swing and hit–and he’s actually pretty good at it and gets so excited every time he gets a hit! He can already catch a soft ball with a mitt too.
We do a lot of the things you listed already–I live in the city so there are lots of those types of activities for free already at the library, Mommie and Me clubs, my gym, and playgroup.

I’ve devised a trade to solve the immigration problem. Is it viable?
It’s undeniable that America needs some hard-working Mexican labor. But clearly this creates a lot of problems. Our social services are burdened by the excess population. Mexico’s economy stagnates because the male working population migrates north.
So, here’s the genius of my idea: We test each Mexican for working aptitude- work ethic, physical and mental fitness, and a bonus for English skills. For each one we accept, we select a welfare-addled redneck and send him shufflin’ down to Acapulco. America’s services are saved, the work force quality improves, and Mexico gets a little something back.
Genius, thy name is rockstarnomad.
Fedup, note that they wouldn’t be illegal if we chose and accepted them. Other guy who’s name I forgot- yeah, I’m down with taking other immigrants, insofar as the redneck clause applies.
Sheesh Fedup, in the question it specifically said they would be selected from Mexico, thus they have not broken any laws.
Keep trying. We do not need Mexican labor. There are billions of people from many countries in the world that would love to come to the USA and work. We should be choosing the pick of this litter instead of granting amnesty to ten million mexicans who came to the US illegally. Los Reconquistadors should be sent back to their homeland, and we should eliminate chain immigration in favor of choosing immigrants that have skills and knowledge that America needs.
Check the sites below for more info about the problems caused by illegal immigration.
